Dear David,
You will never guess where I am
RIGHT NOW.
On a cruise ship in the middle of the Mediterranean!!!
Pretty wild, eh? We're on a 12 day Mediterranean cruise
and because I love you so much I am taking some time off
from my vacation to send you the monthly newsletter.
Either that is a sign of dedication or it is very very
sad. You decide (haha).
We are having a great time so far. Our ship left from
Barcelona and we have already been to Italy and Greece,
and we still have Turkey, Egypt and Malta to go. I've
always wanted to see the pyramids (besides the one in Las
Vegas) so I am very excited. Maybe I'll even see a mummy
or two (scary).
 The
only downside of the trip is that things really seem to be
adding up ($$$). I mean on the ship they are charging
nearly $10 for some cocktails. I'm scared to see what our
onboard account is going to be at by the end of the
cruise. I may be emailing
you again soon to ask you to send money (haha).
I guess I am just used to the value of an all-inclusive
Mexico vacation. At
Real Resorts and
El Cid Resorts your clients pretty much know how much
everything is going to cost before they go because
virtually everything is included and there aren't any
nasty surprises.
A Mexican vacation really is unbeatable value for your
clients when you stop and think about it.
Anyways, I hope you have a great December. I'll be back

Palm Springs Condo
A Little Piece of Paradise
One of my favourite places is Palm Springs California. Have
you been yet? If not, you have to go sometime!!!
A few months ago we took the plunge and bought a cute little
one-bedroom condo in Palm Springs. And guess what? It's
available for you to sell to your clients and we will even
pay you a 10% commission.
Our condo is located in a complex called the "Ocotillo
Lodge". It used to be a hotel and rumour has it that it used
to be a favourite hangout for the rat-pack in the 1950's.
Cool, eh? It has been converted to condos and of course
it's gone through many renovations over the years. In fact
we just had our unit completely renovated in
October/November after we bought it, and now it's ready to
welcome you and/or your clients.
Our unit is 550sq feet and it is located on the 2nd floor
with a very large shared patio/deck. There is a queen size
bed in the bedroom and the unit is fully furnished and
includes all the amenities your clients will need (dishes,
cutlery, coffee maker, toaster, towels, etc).

Yehudi Altman (Director of Product, Westjet Vacations)
attended Fiesta Amigos de Mazatlán on behalf of WestJet the
week of Nov 2nd. At the Gala Dinner WestJet Airlines was
awarded the prized 2009
'Golden Deer' award as the Canadian Airline of the
Year to Mazatlán. Congratulations to all Westjetters who
worked so hard to attain this honour.
 
And much to Yehudi's surprise he was personally awarded the
Keys to Mazatlán and distinguished title of
"Special Ambassador of
Mazatlán in Canada" by the Secretary of Tourism
Antonio Ibarra, for his unconditional support of the
development of tourism to the destination for over 30
years.

What
happens when your clients arrive?

Please note that customs procedures can take 5 minutes or 45
