Dear David,
Hello and happy March. So did you watch the Olympic
Closing Ceremonies? Wasn't it FANTASTIC???
That's me just prior to the start of show. The
energy inside BC Place Stadium was off the charts.
What an incredible experience and what an amazing
night for Canada!!!
I'm so proud of all our Canadian athletes,
especially Joannie Rochette. And wasn't it great
when Alex Bilodeau won Canada's first gold medal on
home soil? But the highlight had to be Canada
winning GOLD in hockey! WooHoo!!!
Normally I'm not a big sports fan (unless you
consider shopping a sport LOL) but I was really into
the Olympics this time around. Vancouver did an
amazing job hosting the world and I am proud to be a
Vancouverite and a Canadian. Way to go Canada!!!
 And
look who else got in the Olympic spirit. This cutie
is Paulo who is the son of Jurriaan Klink (Sales
Manager, Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort).
Paulo is wearing his Olympic outfit while cheering
on the athletes. His Dad is from The Netherlands and
his Mom is from Mexico. I wonder what team he was
rooting for? Probably both! :)
