Dear David,
Well, you did it.
You survived another Canadian winter. YAY!!!
April has arrived and it is officially Spring. The
weather is getting warmer, the days are getting
longer, and the mosquitoes are on their way!!! LOL
I was in YYZ last week and guess what street my
hotel was on...
I thought that was appropriate!!! :)
And speaking of Dixie, I've been receiving a lot of
complaints that Dixie hasn't appeared in the
newsletter for the past 2 months. Well, what can I
say, she's been a little bit camera-shy.
But I told her that she has to start earning her

Dave's Montreal
Restaurant Recommendation
I had a great
dinner in Montreal recently when I was in town doing
El Cid sales calls. It's a place called
O'Noir.
You go in, and eat totally in the dark. It was pitch
black, and you coudn't even bring in cell phones.
The waiters are blind or site impaired. You order
from the menu before you go to your seats in the
dark area, or you have the option of letting them
surprise you for all your courses. We voted to be
surprised. It was an amazing experience that we
really enjoyed. I'd totally go back there with
someone who hasn't experienced it. Two thumbs up!

Travel Agents!!!
This month we are happy to welcome Atlantic Canada
agents to the newsletter. YAY!!!
Dave and I both got back from separate trips to the
Maritimes last month. I was in YYT and Dave was in
YHZ and YQM.
We had heard that people in the Atlantic provinces
are extremely warm and friendly and from our
experiences those rumours are definitely true! It
was a true pleasure meeting you all and hopefully
we'll see you again real soon.
In the meantime, if you need anything don't hesitate

Non-Stop Summer Service
to Mazatlan
Westjet is offering summer non-stop flights to
Mazatlan from Vancouver and Calgary gateways starting
in May. That's great news. Thanks Westjet!

Calgary to Mazatlan:

And don't forget easy connections can be made from
other Canadian cities.
Personally, I think those Tuesday flights via Calgary
will be great for the honeymoon market. The couple can
get married on Saturday, have time to enjoy friends
and family for the gift-opening and then off to
beautiful Mazatlan for their dream honeymoon!
And it goes without saying that we think the best
place to stay in Mazatlan is of course

at the Marina El Cid for a wonderful wedding and stay.
We appreciate the work that you and your fellow
co-workers do!
Our wedding was perfect, the kids club was so much
fun our kids only wanted to be there, the food was
incredible and Alex the photographer did an amazing
job on our wedding photo's. (Too good of a job - we
ened up buying all of them!!)
We also really enjoyed shopping and visiting Puerto
Morelos. What a
beautiful village filled with friendly people. It was
a nice change from
the high pressure sales and craziness of Cancun or
Playa del Carmen!
