Happy February!!!
WOW, has it ever been busy lately. How are things
going in your office? Are you keeping your head above
water?
Well, look who else has been busy!! Dixie has been
having a great time tearing apart all of her Christmas
presents!!!
I like to call that photo "CSI:
New Westminster". Look at that guilty
look on her face!!! She sure loves her stuffed toys
and has such a great time pulling out the stuffing.

Hey, have you heard of

MAZATLAN UPDATE
As we all know, Mazatlan has been in the news a lot
lately, for all the wrong reasons. Please don't buy
into the media hype. Remember, the news outlets want
ratings, and they just love to blow things way out
of proportion. Personally, I love Mazatlan and I
would go tomorrow if I had vacation time (I wish).

The Mission of the Wine Fest is to provide the

outstanding Operations Manager Edwin Barragan and
the rest of your service oriented ROYAL staff, we
thank you. It was a pleasure to work with such a
fantastic team onsite.
We are proud to bring our business to your resort
and it is a privilege to operate our programs with
your team at the ROYAL. Top to bottom they should
be recognized as one of the finest staffs, and most
accommodating teams we have worked with.
Our
confidence starts with Mr. Muller. His
professionalism, attitude, responsiveness and
visibility are rare in a General Manager. We have
now worked with Mr. Muller on two of our corporate
group travel programs, and each time we feel valued
as customers and assured as partners. We have a
great deal of respect for Mr. Muller and his ability
to deliver first class service. We look forward to

and as long as he is the General Manager, we do not

MAZATLAN SEMINARS
Western Canada
Recently, El Cid Resorts, Westjet Vacations and The
Mazatlan Hotel Association hosted a series of dinner
seminars for travel agents in Winnipeg, Calgary,
Edmonton and Vancouver (Burnaby), where agents
learned about Westjet Vacation's Mazatlan product.

In addition, agents were provided updates on the
latest news from 3 of the El Cid resorts in

5 nights or more. Agents were also encouraged to
sign for the
El Cid Rewards Program.

DIXIE'S AMIGO
Bandit
 "This
is Bandit, he is a border-collie cross 8 years old and this
couch is his favorite place to sleep. Every day I put the
pillows on my couch, all nicely lined up and surprise when I
come home from work all of the pillows are on the floor. I
admit he is pretty smart, when he see's us drive home he jumps
off the couch and onto his pillow (laying right beside the
sofa), or in the morning when he hears my alarm go off he
jumps off the couch makes his way upstairs and there he is
laying on the floor next to my bed, just where he was last
night before I fell asleep. What gives him away every time is
the fact he still has not figured out how to put the cushions
back on the couch or vacuum off his dog hair.
When I caught him and took this picture he had this look like
"oh mommy, don't be too mad I so cute" hard to resist that
face. He is a keeper!"
Bandit's owner is Robyn Forster from Sears Travel in
Abbotsford, BC.
