Dear Dave,

Hello there. How are you doing? How is your summer going so far? Did you do anything fun for the long weekend? Are you staying close to home this summer or are you doing a big trip somewhere?

Our summer has been pretty good so far. I don't know if you remember from last month, but were down in Palm Springs for a short break. Well, everything was going great until...our car DIED. That's Dixie watching it being towed away. So sad. Well, it was going to cost more to fix the car than what it was worth so we decided to leave it down there.

Since we had Dixie with us so we couldn't exactly jump on a plane and come home because she is big-boned girl (shhh don't tell her I said that, she is touchy about her figure) and she is over the weight limit for airline cabin restrictions, and there was NO WAY we were going to have her go as cargo. So...we had to find another way to get home from California.

To make a long story short, we ended up renting a car and dropping it off in Seattle, which was a little inconvenient but it all worked out in the end. Of course one of the first things we had to do when we returned home to Vancouver was to buy another car...

As you can see, Dixie does love her convertibles. :)

Other than that things are going well. Both Dave and I have been busy doing sales calls in and around Vancouver promoting Real Resorts, Honua Kai, El Cid Resorts and Canto del Sol. We'll both be travelling around Western Canada a lot over the next couple of months for various shows so hopefully we'll see you soon.

Anyways, have a great August. Hope it's a busy one for you. If you need any help closing the sale, we're always here to help.
