here we are at the beginning of another year. Happy New
down in this newsletter there is a story about Cesar
Milan (the dog whisperer) staying at the Hotel Marina El
Cid over the Christmas holidays. Geez, I really wish I
had known about that in advance, because I would've made
a quick trip down there with Dixie to meet him.
as Dixie is, she desperately needs some one-on-one time
with Cesar to work on some of her issues. She LOVES
people but she HATES other dogs...with a passion. Not
sure what the deal is with that. Dixie is a rescue and
she came to us when she was already 5 years old so there
is a big part of her history that we don't know about.
I'm thinking she wasn't socialized properly as a puppy,
but who knows; maybe she's just naturally a bossy
