El Cid Country Club is a golfer's fantasy.
Guests can play the day away on the 27
championship holes (PGA-rated par 72),
featuring the newest Lee Trevino nine. And
for those who wish to improve their game,
clinics, personal training and classes are
available for everyone from children to
experienced golfers.
El Cid Country Club also hosts annual
tournaments every March and November. Amateur

Dear Dave,
How are things going? Are you surviving
winter? Is it just me or has this winter been
especially brutal?
I'm one of those people who really needs to
have a trip planned. I don't know about you,
but there's something about having a vacay to
look forward to that really helps me cope and
gets me through these gloomy winter months.
We were looking
at travel options when our friends (teachers
from YEG) told us about a 7-night Mexican
Riviera cruise they were
doing over their spring break and they asked
if we wanted to join them. We looked at the
itinerary and the nice thing is that the
ship makes stops in SJD, MZT and PVR, and as
you know, we have hotels in each of those
destinations. So do you think if we do site
inspections we can write off the trip??? LOL.
We're all booked and I can't wait.
