Last week we were in beautiful Mazatlan - what a wonderful destination!! The weather was absolutely perfect and  we enjoyed some shrimp (Mazatlan is world-famous for their shrimp) and of course we also had  one or two Pacifico beers!!

In addition to the great eating and drinking we did squeeze in some site inspections at all 4 of the El Cid properties. It was great to see updates happening at all 4 properties to keep the rooms and amenities fresh and modern.  Of course these on-going updates are going on behind the scenes so as not to disturb or inconvenience any guests.

El Cid Castilla Beach:

The Castilla Beach is property is El Cid's most popular property located on the beach in the middle of Mazatlan's Golden (Hotel) zone,  The Castilla Beach hosts the evening production shows, and the Kid's Club and Teen's programs, both having long hours.  It is close to shopping. one of the largest pools in Mazatlan and one of the largest Senior Frog's in Mexico!

El Cid Marina Beach: 

The El Cid Marina Beach is an upscale property featuring only spacious suites.  It is built around a great marina that hosts El Cid's own deep sea fishing fleet.  After a short ride on a water taxi, guests will end up on a very quiet sandy beach.  The property is only a few minutes away from the El Cid Country Club and El Cid's other three properties, via a free shuttle.

A very short water taxi (complimentary) to the gorgeous beach. 

El Cid Granada: 

The Granada property is El Cid's lead-in property, and is located right across the street from the Castilla Beach and adjacent to the El Cid Country Club and 27-hole championship golf course.  Many of the rooms have kitchenette's for our EP guests and the pool is always quiet.  Guests have full access to the Castilla Beach.

El Cid El Moro Beach:

The El Moro Beach is a beautiful ocean front property adjacent to the Castilla Beach and across the street from the El Cid Country Club and golf course.  It features spacious suites, two large pools and a number of eating and drinking options.
