So we had some excitement here last week...an
earthquake!!
I was lying on the
couch watching Real Housewives of
Melbourne (don't judge me) and I felt
our building swaying a bit. We live in a
high-rise and sometimes when it's windy there's
a very slight swaying so I didn't really think
anything of it. That's when Dave came in from
the office to say we were having an
earthquake!!!
Have you ever felt
an earthquake? I went most of my adult-life
without ever feeling one, but in the past 5
years or so I've had the misfortune of being in
several. I've noticed that my first instinct
seems to be to run outside, which apparently is
not recommended. Dave was born and raised in
California so he is very used to earthquakes and
he keeps telling me that running outside is one
of the worst things you can do. Who knew? I told
Dave that when the big one hits it's every man
for himself. :)
Luckily the earthquake was far enough away from
populated areas so there was no damage, but it
for sure is a wake-up call. Do you have an
