Dear Dave,
So my best-friend Brent flew out from Edmonton to visit me
last week. I can't even remember the last time he was in town
so it was great to have him here and to hang out. I love
Vancouver at this time of the year - there's so much to do.
The weather was gorgeous last week so we decided to do the
Grouse Grind. if you're not from Vancouver and you aren't
familiar, it's known as "Mother Nature's Stairmaster". Doesn't
that sound like fun?? LOL It's only 2.9 km in length but in
that 2.9 km you gain 2,800 feet. Crazy!
In other words, it's complete hell.
There are route markers along the way and when we reached
1/2 way I seriously thought that I couldn't go any further.
Maybe they could send a chopper in to get me off the mountain?
We persevered
and we eventually did make it to the top. It took us just over
2 hours but now I can cross the Grind off my list.

10. Washer/Dryer. I know it
doesn't sound like a big deal but believe me, IT IS A BIG
DEAL!! It's so awesome having high-end washer/dryers in
every suite.
9. Size. The units are BIG! Our 2-bedroom unit last October
was over 1,200sq feet.
8. Aquatic Playground. The best pools on Maui!!
7. Duke's BeachHouse Restaurant. Hula Pie. Mmmmm...
6. Valet Parking. Is there anything better than pulling up
in a convertible and handing the keys over to let someone

5. Consistency. Unlike most condo-style accommodations on
Maui, you're not playing interior design roulette (some
units looking like the 70's). Every unit is new and every
unit is gorgeously decorated.
4. Kitchens. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a
world-class cook, but even I appreciated the high-end
stainless steel appliances in every unit.
3. Concierge. Friendly on-site concierge available to help
you book tours or just to advise you the best places to go
snorkeling or shopping.
2. Internet. Love it or hate it, fact is most of us are
plugged in even on vacation. Great to have fast & reliable
internet service to update facebook status and vacation pics!

I love that the property has 4 distinct pool areas to choose
from. My favourite spot, for relaxing was the quite pool, to
