Dear Dave,
So, my last 2 monthly newsletters have concentrated on travel photo tips and photo pps, but don't forget about video.  Each of us has a compact video cameras in our pockets, with our powerful smart phones.
They say a picture is worth a "thousand words", so video must be worth a lot more!  
Some of you are already doing live Facebook feeds or posting videos to your Instagram accounts, but don't forget the power of short video clips for your clients.
On my latest El Cid - WestJet Riviera Maya FAM, I asked on camera what our agents would tell their colleagues and clients about the resorts.  Barb Tudino (of Cruise Holidays, Mississauga, ON) was kind enough to let us share her comments HERE.  
A few days ago, we went for a nice hike in the George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary.  It is an amazing place in Ladner, BC, to view and get close to some great birds.  Even though I'm not an expert birder, I identified about 15 species of waterfowl and other birds.  My favourite was the large Sandhill Cranes, who nest in the sanctuary.

Give it video a try, especially when on your FAMs or travels.  Some of your clients may love it!

ElCidEl Cid Resorts - Riviera Maya FAM!

I just got back from taking 14 great travel agents from Ontario and western Canada to the El Cid properties in the Riviera Maya (Puerto Morales).
The agents had plenty of free time to get to know the new Ventus at Marina El Cid and the Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort.
Agents had plenty of time to enjoy most of the a la carte restaurants,

explore the various pools at the 2 resorts,

relax on the quite beach,

and even enjoy the variety of great evening entertainment.   

We also enjoyed a great catamaran/snorkeling excursion leaving right from El Cid's marina.


We also enjoyed an short shopping excursion to the sleepy fishing village of Puerto Morelos.
