Happy Groundhog Day!
(DETM February 2023 Newsletter)
Dear Dave,
Please join me in welcoming Jo (Josephine) Lynch as part of the DETM team!
Jo began her career as an entrepreneur in the Hospitality Trade before entering the Travel Industry 20 years ago. As a part-time Travel Consultant, she began by selling to family and friends. Then, with her love for travel as her motivator, she developed a passion for the industry.
 
After four years as a consultant, she became a District Sales Manager with Encore Cruises representing the world's top cruise lines. In 2007 she joined Viking Cruises as a Director of Business Development for Eastern Canada. She is thrilled to begin this new chapter in her career and return to travel. She is located in the Toronto area and can be reached at jo@daemery.com.
 
Jo will be assisting in supporting and promoting our Krystal Resorts and Realistic Asia accounts, primarily in Ontario and eastern Canada.
I know it has been another challenging month in the travel industry, especially for our partners in the prairies. We wish you strength and patience as you attempt to fulfill the winter travel dreams of your clients!

Note that bookings must be made through any Tour Operator such: Sunwing, WestJet, etc. Bookings made it through online companies such: Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com will not be applicable to El Cid Rewards points.

For our little winter sun getaway, we were spoiled at the El Cid Resorts in Mazatlan. I’m happy to report that all is well in Mazatlan! It was wonderful to see the 4 El Cid properties, golf course and of course, Mazatlan again. And yes, I got my fill of great shrimp dishes while trying many of the El Cid restaurants. You can see my full report and photos HERE.
